While many patients view physical therapy as a brief stop in their daily routine, patients who visit Palm Rehabilitation Center find their experience to be far more meaningful. More than a place of treatment, patients work on recovery while building lasting connections with others. Located at 9900 Stirling Road, the rehabilitation center has proudly served the Cooper City community for over the past five years, creating an environment that feels less like a clinic and more like a second home.
“It’s been nice being a part of Cooper City and treating the patients here. It’s been a good experience,” said Owner and Physical Therapist Assistant Marck Lubin, “Its a very bright city. I love the people, I love the community.”
Palm Rehabilitation Center offers a range of services such as physical, occupational, and massage therapy, as well as special programs such as senior wellness and work hardening/conditioning, which are all designed to support patients on their road to recovery, regardless of the circumstance.
"It's not your typical physical therapy clinic where you come in and you just start these grueling exercises,” said Lubin. “I have patients sometimes stay here two, three hours just mingling with each other, building relationships, building friendships.”
Beyond treatment, the center is known for its warm, family-oriented atmosphere. From personalized care to a welcoming cup of “cafecito,” Lubin takes pride in fostering an environment where patients, especially geriatric and retired individuals, feel comfortable, connected, and at home.
"My whole objective is not only to create an environment where they can recover from whatever condition that they might be going through, but also that they feel like a little community, like those places that they can go and interact with people their age and build new relationships and get served coffee every now and again," said Lubin. "That's my whole thing, just to give them that."
Lubin and his team’s passion for providing the highest level of personalized care to every patient is reflected in the business’s nomination for the Small Business Award. Nominated by one of his own patients, Lubin expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition, noting that it honors the hard work and dedication to serving the Cooper City community each day.
“That was really big because we weren’t here for that long and to be discovered and recognized, it's a big deal for us,” said Lubin. "I appreciate being acknowledged – that goes a long way. That means a lot for me, for us, [and] my staff."
Through care and compassion, Palm Rehabilitation Center demonstrates the power of healing within a supportive community where patients feel heard, valued, and leave satisfied.
Congratulations, Palm Rehabilitation Center!
