Cooper City Utilities & Public Works Department

Cooper City's Utilities Department officially merged with the Public Works Department on October 1, 2024. This move was approved by the City Commission with the passing of the Fiscal Year 2025 budget. The merger strives to improve service delivery to our residents and businesses, while making our City more economically efficient.

The dedicated men and women of our Utilities and Public Works Department work tirelessly to provide responsive, high-quality, customer-oriented, and professional service to the residents and businesses of Cooper City. Our team oversees the superior municipal services that enable us to be one of the most desirable places to call home in South Florida. Our caring and innovative team helps provide clean drinking water, wastewater and stormwater services, safe roads and sidewalks, and highly operational facilities and vehicles. The Department also houses the Office of the City Engineer.
